I visit the library at least once a week and am a voracious reader. Currently, my stack of books includes: My Year Abroad by Chang-rae Lee, The Age of Surveillance Capitalism by Shoshana Zuboff, Slipping by Muhammad Kheir, Cowboy Graves: Three Novellas by Roberto Bolaño, and The Night Watchman by Louise Erdrich.
What are you listening to?
Phish recently played their annual Labor Day weekend concerts here in Denver and I’ve been re-listening to the performances at least once a day since attending the shows. I’m a huge reggae music-lover and Kabaka Pyramid’s Immaculate mixtape with Federation Sound has been on repeat (loudly) while I’m rolling around town in my truck. When I feel like some strong women-power music, I shuffle between Maliibu Miitch, Leikeli47, Zed Kenzo, Niña Dioz, La Dame Blanche and Ana Tijoux.
