What are you looking at?
I’ve been looking at plane and train tickets to places I want to go next year; travel restrictions have made me antsy to get out of the country to explore some new cultures and, most importantly, their food. Aside from that I’ve been consuming Marvel movies and TV shows now that the backlog of their movies and shows are all being released at the end of the year. I’m reading several books including Can’t Hurt Me (David Goggins), Algorithms (Panos Louridas) and rereading John Dies At The End (“David Wong”), which I highly recommend if you’re into weird (and I mean weird) sci-fi books. And trying to shop for furniture amidst the couch shortage.
What are you listening to?
I’ve been really vibing off Shakey Graves lately, although my go-to playlist has a broad range of music with anything from bluesy folk music to hip-hop to progressive death metal. I really enjoy anything that inspires emotion regardless of the type of emotion. Also, I’ve been diving into a Mythology podcast called Let’s Talk About Myths, Baby and a history podcast that covers weird parts of history around the world called The Dollop.
